# SDKs and frameworks

> How mainstream SDKs and frameworks point at TokRouter — change a base_url or origin, no adapter package needed.

TokRouter ships no SDK of its own — it implements the vendors' **native protocols**, so any client that
supports a custom base URL works.

## Rules of thumb

| Client type | What to change |
| --- | --- |
| OpenAI SDK / OpenAI-compatible frameworks | `base_url` = `https://api.tokrouter.dev/v1` |
| Anthropic SDK | `base_url` = `https://api.tokrouter.dev` (the SDK appends `/v1/messages`) |
| google-genai | `base_url` = `https://api.tokrouter.dev` |
| Any HTTP client | Call the protocol endpoint directly |

Keys are always the `sk-` token; the header differs per protocol (see [Authentication](/en/authentication/)).
